Salmon fishing picking up after a cold start of the summer

The salmon season is picking up after a slow last few weeks do to cold weather. The salmon above was caught in river Laxá which is part of the Jökla tributaries. Here below is a solmon from Hólsá in the southern part of Iceland. We still have a few available spots in July and september to go salmon fishing.
